WESTWOOD BASKETBALL IN-TOWN PROGRAM

The WBA In-Town basketball program is a grade-based basketball league open to all interested boys and girls in Grades 2 thru 12. 

There are no tryouts and we welcome all players of any skill levels as we work to balance teams across all grades.  All 4th-6th graders who play in our Metrowest Travel Program are also required to register and play in our In-Town program, as well.  Some of the In-Town rules and details are contained in our Document section.

The In-Town program plays on Saturdays during 75-minute time slots in our Town gyms made up of approximately 30 minutes of practice time followed by a 45-minute game.  The program starts the first weekend in December and runs until the beginning of March.

The registration fee for In-Town basketball is $100 per player with discounts available to families with three or more players.

2022-23 Metrowest Travel Program

REGISTRATION HAS CLOSED FOR THIS SEASON

The Westwood MetroWest travel program is for grades 4 through 8 and starts in November and usually runs through mid-March. 

There is a tryout process before teams are determined with 1-2 mandatory tryout sessions per grade.  The season starts in early Nov. with 2 mandatory practices a week and all games are played on Sundays starting after Thanksgiving. 

In addition, as part of the WBA program, 4th-6th grade travel players are normally required to play WBA In-Town Basketball on Saturdays, a program we expect to run starting in December (registation will open in October).  Please consider the time commitment involved prior to registering and planing to try out for a respective team.

Players are encouraged to attend both tryout sessions.There is only 1 tryout session for boys and girls in 4^th grade. Each tryout session is 75 min.
